Two girls on a Japanese island

I got an inspiration today so I decided to put it on the screen before it went away. Here's my latest creation. The artwork depicts two girls on a Japanese island. Snow is falling around them. There are some faded mountains in the background.

Inspiration

Summer is here and I'm on the lookout for new inspirations. What gives an artist his inspirations? Is it the colors? The medium? His friends and family? Or is it the time and location of when and where the artist is that dictates the direction of his art? No two artists are exactly the same. The level of inspiration depends on the individual. It is a combination of past life experiences, current awareness, and dreams of an alternate reality that shape and define our works of art.

Business card design for Lyra's Art Gallery & Shop

I decided to update my logo and came up with this design. This is also the design for my business card that I am currently using for Lyra's Art Gallery & Shop. It was made using Adobe Photoshop. What are your opinions of my new design? Do you like the new one or the old one better?

Godzilla

I have Godzilla on my mind, so I decided to take this screen capture from the movie and turn it into a comic book panel. In this panel, the humans are dumbfounded by a talking Godzilla and don't know how to reply to him. The comic book panel was made in Adobe Photoshop. I hope you find this to be entertaining and funny like I do.

Godzilla

Who here is a fan of Godzilla? I saw the new Godzilla movie and was inspired to create this. Using a screen capture from the movie, I turned it into a comic book panel with Adobe Photoshop. In the scene here, Godzilla is asking the humans for directions to California so he can fight the MUTOs. How will the humans respond to a talking Godzilla?
