An outdoor performance on the Earth Harp by William Close and another musician. The Earth Harp is the world's largest stringed instrument. The strings can extend up to 1,000 feet in length and are usually attached to the rooftops of buildings. The Earth Harp uses architecture and landscape as an extension of itself. The instrument is played using musical bows and violin resin on cotton gloves. The Earth Harp was invented by musician William Close in 1999.
